During the war

He was drafted (1, 3). He enlisted and was mustered into service on 15 March 1865 (1, 3). He was mustered in as a private, in company B, at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania (1, 3, 4).

He may have been charged for a lost wrench, tompin, and equipments, perhaps when the regiment mustered out (but the list doesn't have "to be charged" on his line) (2).

He mustered out with his company on 10 July 1865 (1, 3). He was a private, in company I (4).
