[322 & 323] _ Mar 1775 _ On motion of Mr. Gray on behalf
of Robert STRINGER who heretofore applied to John CLITHERALL &
Joseph LEECH Esquires to be discharged from THOMAS TAYLOR who
pretends a right to his servitude by an indenture whereby tis said he
was bound to James ROBERTS, the said John CLITHERALL & Joseph
LEECH Esqurs on his said complaint orderd said Robert to attend this
Court, to prevent which the said THOMAS took and apprehended
said Robert and put him in Prison. The Court thereupon order him to
be brought here into court, which was accordingly done, and on
hearing the allegations of the said TAYLOR and on examining
the paper called an indenture, the court were unanimously of opinion
that he the said Robert STRINGER hath been unjustly withheld form his
Liberty; and therefore ordered that he be discharged.
[359] _ Mar 1776 _ The last Will and Testament of John FOOKS
deceased was duly proved by the oath of ABSALOM TAYLOR and
William IVES the subscribing Witnesses thereto, at the same time
James FOO__ Executor therein named qualified as such agreeable to
Law.
[516] _ Dec 1778 _ John DALY Esquire prayed Admin on the
Estate of William BRADLEY decd as greatest creditor, at the same time
ABRAHAM TAYLOR who intermarried with Mary the Widow of
the deceased appeared in Court and Relinquished his right to the said
John DALY Esq. Thereupon he Qualified as administrator and entered
into bond in the sum of f100 ordered that Letters of admin issue
accord.
