    7.  George Clinton (b. 26 July 1739, d. 20 April 1812) m. Cornelia Tappen 7 February 1770. He was one of only two men to hold the office of Vice President under two different presidents (the other was John C. Calhoun). He replaced Aaron Burr in 1805, and he died in office.
