Benj PainterWe the judges & clerks of the election held in Milton township for the purpose of electing a justice of the peace and two constables for said township do certify that John Shirk receive sixty four votes for JP and James Brooks received 94 votes for the same office. Lester Burk received Ten votes for the same office. Wiley Brooks received seventy four votes for constable and James Joyce received one hundred and twenty eight votes for the same office. Joshua Comley received forty eight votes for the same office and Sanford Faught received thirty votes for the same office & Benj Sherman recd eight votes for the same
