The City of Troy, now in western Turkey, is a beautiful little place on top of a low hill. A Trojan Horse replica? Giant storage jars. The famous walls of Troy. Troy consists of nine cities on top of each other. The city described by Homer is believed to be Troy VI and VII. These foundations cover even more ancient foundations. The red brick walls are believed to be a part of the oldest city. Archaeologists are attempting to reconstruct these walls. Ruins cover every inch of the hilltop. Walls, well, and a ramp up into the palace.
Most ruins can be dated by the building style. Every bit of dirt seems to be covering ruins. Every city had a theater. Beautifully crafted walls near the city's main entrance.
