William Allis, son of John Allis and Mary Meekins , was born May 16,1684 in Hatfield, Hampden Co., Ma. He married Mary Griswold December 15, 1709 in Hatfield, Hampshire Co., Ma. He died 1761 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Ct. Mary Griswold.

Notes for WILLIAM ALLIS V:
Will dated June 14, 1756 in which he gave his grandson Abel Allis all his
real estate and all his personal effects that would remain after paying the
other legacies named in the will.
He was a farmer and prominent citizen of Wethersfield and held town office of
Collector in 1712, and Lister (rate-maker) and Packer (meat inspector) the
following year.
