Nathaniel Allis, son of Nathaniel Allis and Mercy Dudley , was born November 04,1716 in Bolton, Tolland Co., Ct. He married Hannah Scranton November 29, 1739 in East Guilford, Ma, (Madison). He died March 04, 1804 in East Guilford, Madison Co., Ct. Hannah Scranton was born March 03, 1718. She died January 10, 1783 in East Guilford, Ct, (Madison).

Nathaniel was a Drummer in the Revolutionary War, enlisting on 22 mar 1776 in Capt. Danile Hand's Company, Col. Talcott's Regiment. A Nathaniel Allis is listed as a "selectman" from Guilford(7 Jan 1782) in "Refugees of 1776 from Long Island to Ct." by Mather pg 168 & 952 According to A History of Nathaniel Allis House by Helen Love Scranton he and his brother John built a house in 1739 in Madison Ct referred today as the Nathaniel Allis House. Buried in West Cemetary. Acccord
