Nathaniel was a Drummer in the Revolutionary War, enlisting on 22 mar 1776 in Capt. Danile Hand's Company, Col. Talcott's Regiment. A Nathaniel Allis is listed as a "selectman" from Guilford(7 Jan 1782) in "Refugees of 1776 from Long Island to Ct." by Mather pg 168 & 952 According to A History of Nathaniel Allis House by Helen Love Scranton he and his brother John built a house in 1739 in Madison Ct referred today as the Nathaniel Allis House.
