My Family's History
The Jackson, Goodpaster & Dixon Branches of my Family Tree
Earliest records found for two branches of my family, Jackson and Goodpaster, first appear in Virginia, than they later moved to Bath County,
Kentucky. Some members of these families than migrated to Indiana.

Jackson Branch of my Family Tree
John Jackson, born abt. 1748 and died abt 1826 Mt Sterling, Bath County, Kentucky.
His son, William Evan Jackson had several children,
including my g grandfather, William B. Jackson, who came to Decatur County about 1863.
Recent DNA testing, indicates that John Jackson was a descendant of
Robert Jackson born circa 1605/1620 of Hempstead, Long Island, NY. This is based on a
Y-DNA 65/67 match between Burrell Edwin Jackson and the ancestral haplotype of Col. John Jackson.
See Broken Links in the Jackson Family Genealogy Website for further information.
