"Margene J. Holderman, 66, of Julian, died Sat., Aug. 26, 1995, at her home. She was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late Elwood G. and Julia V. Kellerman Spicer.

On Mar. 28, 1948, she married Kenneth E. "Pappy" Holderman who survives at home. She was a 1946 graduate of Bellefonte Area Hi School and worked as a seamstress and a homemaker. Mrs. Holderman attended the Milesburg Baptist Church and the Martha Baptist Church, Martha Furnace. She was also a member of the Central Pennsylvania Guilded Craftsman of State College.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Susan L. McFadden of State College and Julia V. Hedgeland of Columbia, Md.; 3 sons, Samuel R. Holderman of Ketchum, Idaho, David A. Holderman of White Sands, N.M., and Charles E. Holderman of Moscow, Idaho; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tues. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home in Milesburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wed. at Martha Baptist Church, Martha Furnace, with the Rev. David R. Spaugh officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Township."
