Arthur Melvin ROTH, 72, died suddenly March 10, 1989 at Akron City Hospital.

Mr. ROTH was born 1916 in Comstock, Custer County, NE. and had lived in the Akron area since 1935. He was originally a member of the North Springfield Presbyterian Church. His four children were baptized there. He later became a member of the Goodyear Heights Methodist Church. He was a Veteran of the Second Army serving in WWII, and American Legion Post 209. Mr. Roth was employed by the Albrecht Grocery in accounts payable from 1937 to 1941 and retired in 1979 from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., where he was Section Head of Accounts Payable and a life member of the Goodyear Foreman's Club.

Preceded in death by his parents, Richard Edgar and Minerva Ann DURHAM-ROTH of Comstock. NE., two brothers, Edgar Wayne ROTH of Denver CO. & Floyd Eugene ROTH of Council Bluffs, IA. and three sisters, Ruby Berniece ROTH-IRETON of Casper, WY., Mildred LaBertha ROTH-SPRINGMAN of Murray, UT. and Nina Louisa ROTH-STANLEY of Akron Summit Co. OH. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Belle KELLERMAN-ROTH, three sons, one daughter, six grandchildren & brother, Levi Marion ROTH of Gordon, Sheridan Co. NE.
