Tom and I both enjoyed the Class of '44 reunion and then visiting in Comstock the next day. That was a fantatic celebration. The Class of '44 is planning another reunion in 4 years so we are looking forward to that and hope the ones that missed this year can come then. Tom & Phyllis PACKARD_JOHNSON. P.S. Have you caught many fish this year Eddie? Tom went to Canada for a week with our son and they caught a lot of fish and even had a bear call on their cabin one night."


Physical Education: (girls):

Mary Ann TVRDIK, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Edward TVRDIK of Ord, and Quentin DAHLSTEDT of Burwell, were married at Ord Sept. 7.

Lt. and Mrs. Gordon HYDE and daughter were transferred from San Angelo, Texas, to Puerto Rico.

A miscellaneous shower honoring Evelyn HRUBY, was held at the Westcott Church.

the Comstock-Merna football game ended in a scoreless tie.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer KLUNA and daughters were visiting relatives in the Comstock, Sargetn and Ord area. Elmer said he liked it fine in Eugene, Oregon, in fact, he says he likes it, "Almost as well as Navy Service."
