Cantwell. In 1830 James and Reuben lived near each other in Warren
county, Tennessee; in 1850 in Jackson County, Tennessee, and by 1870
Reuben was located in Wabash county, Illinois. Reuben was born ca
1806-06 in South Carolina, died ca 1887-89 after the 1870 census of
Wabash County, Illinois. He married about 1828 to Rachel ? who was born
ca 1810 in Tennessee. Our Cantwells migrated from Tennessee to
Illinois. They were from Scottish, Irish, and Indian blood, with English
