Ramsey, Lena Mary Clark

Lena Mary Ramsey, age 95, of Benton, passed away May 28, 2011. She was born July 16, 1915, in Palestine, Arkansas, to the late William Alfred Clark and Lovie Gillis Clark.
Ms. Ramsey had a deep faith in Christ, and was very independent. She was often called "Sunshine," as she always looked toward the positive side in life. She owned a store and flower shop for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newell P. Ramsey. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred Jerome Clark and Nathan L. Clark; three nephews, Aubrey Dean Brewer, Robert Clark, and Calvin Ritchey.
She is survived by one sister, Lucille Brewer of Haskell; five nephews, Alan D. (wife, Phyllis Clark) of Springfield, Missouri, Harvey (wife, Kathy) Brewer of Benton, Leon (wife, Connie) Brewer of Haskell, Billy (wife, Edith) Ramsey of Benton, Leon (wife, Donna) Cornett of Benton, and Harold (wife, Betty) Clark of Grapevine; five nieces, Diane (husband, Joey) Lyman of Haskell, Kathy Richards of Benton, Peggy (husband, Terry) Pendergrass, of Tull, Carolyn (husband, Alan) Capps of Little Rock, and Debbie Winfrey of Sheridan, as well as sister-in-law, Kathleen Clark of Tull; and special friend and angel, Helen Woods, of Benton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 30, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home Chapel (315-4047), with Rev. Randal, Fay

Fredericksburg: Fay Randal, 81, died Saturday, March 11, 2006. Graveside service will be at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Arrangements are by Beckmann Funeral Home.

Randall, Helen Sylvia James

Helen S. Randall, 83, of Ellensburg died Tuesday.
Mrs. Randall was born in Rossville, Kansas, lived in Medford, Oregon, and recently moved to Ellensburg. She was a model for the Revlon Co. when she was younger.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Randall of Ellensburg; three sons, Ronald Randall of Lakeside, Oregon, Randy Randall of Seattle and Robert Randall of Eagle Point, Oregon; a brother, Ronald M. James of Jacksonville, Oregon; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, inurnment will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Roseburg, Oregon.

Reaves, Jack Ellis

Jack Ellis Reaves passed away at home after a short illness. A native of Texas, Jack was stationed at the San Francisco Presidio where he met the love and light of his life, Joan. Married for 59 years, they lived the past 43 years in Sonoma.
Jack is survived by his wife, Joan; their daughters, Kathleen (Eric) Pierce, of Sebastopol, Carol (Charles) Price, of Sonoma; and his beloved grandchildren, Stuart, Mitchell and Kelsey Price, of Sonoma.
His sense of humor and stories will be missed by all who knew him. No services are planned.

Charles Reese, aged 55, of Benton died Saturday. He was an automobile mechanic and a World War II veteran. Survivors include seven sons, Johnny, Norman, Wayne, Ricky, James and Clifton Reese, all of Benton, and Charles Reese of Missouri; a daughter, Mrs. Deborah Kay Caves of Benton; four brothers, James, Rufus and Fred Reese, all of Kansas, and Jack Reese of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Burks of Benton, Mrs. Eloise Camp of Little Rock and Mrs. Ruby Collier of Texas; and 15 grandchildren. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Revivals Fellowship Church at Benton. Reese, James Andrew

James Andrew "Boots" Reese, aged 64, of Benton died Wednesday.
he was a truck driver for Ulysses Irrigation and Pipe Co. in Ulysses, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maybelle Reese of Benton; one stepson, Ronny Buffington of Benton; two daughters, Brenda Johnson and Pat Simmons, both of Benton; three stepdaughters, Loretta Ables of Benton and Darlene Neal and Lois Ables, both of California; two brothers, Rufus Reese and Fred Reese, both of Kansas; three sisters, Helen Burks of Benton, Eloise Kemp of Little Rock and Ruby Collier of Texas; four grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Reese, James Douglas

James Douglas Reese, age 56, of Benton, passed away Monday February 11, 2008.
He was born November 22, 1951, in Benton, Arkansas, to the late Charles and Opal Reese. Mr. Reese was a roofer and of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Shane Cordrey; brother, Norman Reese and a sister, Debbie Higgins.
He is survived by his son, Charles Douglas Long of Benton; daughter, LeAnn Hillstrom of Mt. Home; six brothers, Johnny Reese of Benton, Wayne Reese of Benton, Danny Reese of Missouri, Ricky Reese of Bauxite, Arnold Reese of Benton and Curtis Reese of Benton and six grandchildren.

Frank W. Reese
Frank W. Reese, aged sixty-six years, of the Bennett community, died at the Blakely Hospital November 19 and was buried sunday afternoon at the Leech cemetery. Services were conducted by the Rev. Harold Sadler.

Reynolds, Egie Iley

Elgie Reynolds, 92, of Atkins died Thursday (June 16, 1994) at his home. He was the son of the late Iley C. and Tennie Boyd Reynolds. He was retired from Green Bay Foods and farming; a member and deacon of Hopewell Baptist Church and member of the Woodman of the World. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alta Wade Reynolds of Atkins; a son, Carroll Reynolds of Boise, Idaho; a brother, Ellis Reynolds of Atkins, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service was Monday morning at the Hopewell Baptist Church by Rev. Jeff Cheatham and Rev. Robbie Jackson. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Reynolds, Elsie Lou Vance

Elsie Lou Reynolds, 87, of Moline, died September 15, 1999, in Wichita.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. September 20 in Moline Cemetery. Pastor Robin Haines officiated. Honorary casket bearers were David Brace, Jim Byrnes, Joe Byrnes, John Clark, Jim Edgington, Mike Harbison and Virgil Hawkins. Columbia Chapter 142 of Howard conducted Eastern Star services.
A memorial has been established with the Moline United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through Zimmerman Funeral Home of Howard.
Reynolds was born December 20, 1911, at Ada, Oklahoma, to John and Myrtle (Brown) Vance.
She graduated from high school in Wakita, Oklahoma, and attended one year of college before completing cosmetology school in Wichita. She was employed as a cosmetologist in Wichita for several years.
In 1939 she married Howell Percy Reynolds in Wichita. They moved to Moline in 1940. Her husband died April 6, 1978.
Reynolds, a homemaker, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for more than 50 years and currently a member of Columbia Chapter 142 of Howard. She was a longtime member of the Moline United Methodist Church and active in United Methodist Women.
Survivors include a son, John Reynolds, Jupiter, Florida; a daughter, Nancy Winter, Mulvane; and a stepson, Alden McDonald, Topeka.    (Winfield Daily Courier)    Rootsweb WCP

Reynolds, Zula M. Haney

Mrs. Zula Haney Reynolds, 72, of Atkins died Friday, January 2, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a housewife, daughter of the late J. F. and Maggie Webb Haney, and was a member of Hopewell Baptist church. Survivors include her husband, Elgie Reynolds; a son, Carroll Reynolds of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, S. F. Haney of Atkins and Montie Haney of Paragould; a sister, Mrs. Avis Alewine of Atkins, and four grandchildren. Funeral was today at Hopewell Baptist church by the Rev. Tom Lindley. Rhea, Esther Lee Ashcraft

Esther Lee Rhea, 77, of Little Rock died Thursday, May 1, 2008.
She was born July 30, 1930, in North Little Rock to Elbert and Lilly Montgomery Ashcraft.
Mrs. Rhea retired from both Lucent Technologies and the city of Bryant. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bryant. She was a member of Master Gardeners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Uell Rhea; two brothers, James and Doyle Ashcraft; and a sister, Mary MacLean.
Survivors include four children, Glen Rhea and wife Mary, Marlis Wynne and husband Gary, Karen Bridgman and husband Bob and Kerry Reddick and husband Jocko; a brother, Norman Ashcraft and wife Sharon; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and friends.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday and a memorial service at 2 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills in Alexander.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, 5600 W. 12th St., Little Rock, AR 72204; First United Methodist church of Bryant, 508 N. Reynolds Road, Bryant, AR 72022; or a charity of choice.
Family comments: Esther wanted to thank her best friend, Nita Oliver, for her friendship, love and support over the years. The family also wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Arkansas Hospice for their care and compassion. Rhea, Robert E.

Robert E. "Jackpot" Rhea, 72, of Paron, Arkansas, died May 20, 2010, in a Conway hospital. He was bon January 16, 1938, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Curtis Ray Rhea and the late Audry Odle Rhea. He was a retired carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two step-sons: Billy Brockman and wife Cheryl of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and David Brockman and wife Shelly of Cabot, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Anita Caldron Rhea, a brother, and a step-son, Edward Seth Brockman.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairplay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Monday, May 24, 2010, at the funeral home. (from Atkinson Funeral Home online obituary)

Rigsby, George M. Garner

Georgia M. Rigsby, 98, of Hot Springs died Monday, February 8, 1999, at home.
Born October 19, 1900, at Lonsdale, she was a homemaker, retired certified nursing assistant and member of Park Place Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, John Wade and Rachel Mary Ella Tate Garner; her husband, Robert F. Rigsby, Sr.; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert F. and Elsie Simpson Rigsby, Jr.; one daughter and three sons-in-law, Jackie and Walter Crabtree, B. F. Lowrey and Jacob Ault; and two grandsons, Steve Rigsby and Winford Ault.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Margie Lowrey and Rachel Ault and Mervan Benson, all of Hot Springs; one brother, John Garner of Hot Springs; two sisters, Elnroa Wilson and Izora Withespoon, both of Hot Springs; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Hot Springs Funeral Home chapel with Brother Mike Petty and Kevin Carson officiating.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are Levi Hospice, Park Place Baptist Church deacons, J. T. Reddin, Brothers Curt Stillwell and Frank Thurman, Warren Campbell and Tucker Lynch.

Rigsby, Robert F.

Robert F. Rigsby, 65, of Hot Springs died Wednesday, July 24, 1996, at his home.
Born January 19, 1931, in Lonsdale, he was a merchanical engineer who retired from Falcon Jet in Little Rock.
He was a member of the Whittington Masonic Lodge, served with World War II paratroopers in 1950-1951, worked at Jet Propulsion in California and was a farmer in Garland County.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie Simpson Rigsby; his father, Robert F. Rigsby, Sr., and his son, Robert Steven Rigsby.
Survivors include his mother, Georgia Rigsby of Mountain Pine; two sisters, Margie Lowrey of Hot Springs and Rachel Ault of Mountain Pine; nieces; and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Rigsby Cemetery in Lonsdale with Brother Mike Petty officiating.
Pallbearers will be Glen Ford, Harold Ford, Harold Alford, Frank Machen, Frank Qualls and Paul Hamilton.
Honorary pallbearers are Billy Garner and brothers of Whittington Masonic Lodge.

Roach, Don E.

Don E. Roach, 55, of Hot Springs died Friday, October 31, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born October 2, 1942, in Hot Springs to Clarise Coe and Earnest Roach, he was Baptist and worked for Weyerhaeuser. He was predeceased by a stepbrother, Johnnie Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Roach of Hot springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Barbara Roach of Jessieville, and Mark and Ebbie Roach of Hot Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Steve Wehr of Hot Springs; three brothers, Doug Roach of Lakeland, California, Larry Roach of Eureka Springs and Earnest Roach of Hot springs; his stepmother, Camille Roach of Hot Springs; a half brother Ronnie Roach of Hot Springs; four half sisters, Diane Williams of Heber Springs, and Virginia Sanders, Judy Roberts and Betty Keene, all of Hot Springs; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home chapel with Father Alan Rosenau officiating.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Kirtley, Brandt Roach, Ronnie Roach, Bill Hughes, Ken Kirtley, Gary Leisher and Wesley Hill.

Roach, Ernest Charles "Chig"

Ernest Charles "Chig" Roach Jr., 69, of Hot Springs died Sunday, October 19, 2003.
Born January 25, 1934, at Hot Springs to Ernest Charles and Cecile Roach Sr., he was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Nancy Roach; and one brother, Donnie Roach.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Roach of California, Nickey Roach of Utah, and Brandt Roach and Brandon Roach, both of Hot Springs; two daughters, Carol Lefler of California and Tammy Niles of Hot Springs; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Roach of Fayetteville, Ronnie Roach of Hot Springs and Doug Roach of California; and four sisters, Virginia Sanders, Diane Williams, Judy Roberts and Betty Keene, all of Hot Springs.
The service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors provided by Thaddeus H. Caraway VFW Post 2278 Honor Guard.

Roach, Larry Cortez

Larry C. Roach, 66, of Bella Vista died Thursday, April 1, 2004.
He was born October 20, 1937, in Hot Springs to Ernest and Clarice Coe Roach.
He was a Navy veteran. He retired with CTS Cement Manufacturing in California. He was an elder for 25 years in the Church of the Open Bible in Tujunga, California, and was a member of the Christian Center in Bentonville. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1994 from Sunland, California.
Survivors include his wife, Dixie D. Roach; a son, Gary D. Roach of Santa Clarita, California; two daughters, Pamela Adams of Bentonville and Glenna Yarrington of Bentonville; two brothers, Doug Roach of San Diego and Ronnie Roach of Hot Springs; four sisters, Diane Williams of Jacksonville, and Virginia Sanders, Judy Roberts and Betty Keene of Hot Springs; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. today in the Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Christian Center in Bentonville. The Rev. Dan Sanford, the Rev. Paul Pluimer and the Rev. Norman Schultz will officiate.
Burial will be in the Bella Vista Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post No. 9063 of Bella Vista.

Roberts, Donald Ross

Donald Ross Roberts, 71, of Sheridan, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at Hot Spring County Medical Center in Malvern. He was born August 26, 1936, in Sheridan a son of the late Marion Ross and Alice Elizabeth Whitaker Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church since 1953. He married Judy Kelly on February 4, 1961, in Sheridan. He served in the National Guard, and was employed with International Paper Company until he retired in 1998. After retirement, Mr. Roberts worked for Sheridan Schools as a bus driver. Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Judy Kelly Roberts of Sheridan; daughter, Karen Roberts Hitt of Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, James Donald Roberts and Angi of Sheridan; granddaughter, Elizabeth Corinne Hitt; step-grandchildren, Christopher Hitt, Donald Hitt, and Dana Silvera. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007, at Buie Funeral Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery near Sheridan. Roberts, Elizabeth Matilda "Lizzie" White

Elizabeth M. "Lizzie" Roberts, 103, of Hot Springs died Thursday, December 20, 2001, at home. Born July 17, 1898, at Akin Farm, Garland County, to Thomas Newton and Lou Haney Clemons White, she was a homemaker, member of Park Place Baptist church and Hot Springs Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and was one of the few remaining real daughters of the Confederacy in Arkansas. Survivors include four sons and five daughters-in-law Donald L. and JoAnne Roberts of Hot Springs, William S. and Freda Roberts of Sun City, Florida, Allen and Maylene Roberts of Cottondale, Florida, Frank and Nancy Roberts of Magnolia and Odessa Roberts of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Bob Messersmith of Hot Springs; one sister-in-law, Ruby White of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. The service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Jim Agee and David Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be T. J. Mary Odessa Roberts, 88, of Hot Springs died Friday, October 30, 2009, at a local nursing home. She was born June 5, 1921, to Martha Jane Hinson Taylor and Joe J. Taylor in Paron, Arkansas.
Mrs. Roberts and her husband owned and operated Roberts Dairy Farm; she was a retired secretary with Alliance Rubber Company; a member of Centerfork Baptist Church and was a Sunday school teacher. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, T. J. Roberts, Sr.; one son, T. J. Roberts, Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Reba Roberts and three sisters, Lorraine Williams, Pauline Lancaster and Thelma Hill.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry and Pat Roberts of Hot Springs and Lon Roberts of Benton; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Hot Springs Funeral Home. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2009, at Hot Springs Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Baxter and Pastor J. O. Passman officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Stanford L. Roberts, 89, died Friday in a local convalescent center. He was born in Saline County and had lived in Hot Springs since 1941. He was a retired farmer and boiler operator and a member of Pullman Heights United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lizzie M. Roberts of Hot Springs; 5 sons, T. J. Roberts and Donald L. Roberts, both of Hot Springs, William S. Roberts of Tampa, Florida, Allen Roberts of Bedford, Indiana, and Dr. Benjamin D. Roberts of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Messersmith of Hot Springs; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. at the Caruth Funeral Home Chapel with Dr Neal Raborn officiating. Pallbearers will be T. J. Roberts, Jr., Jerry Roberts, Lon Earl Roberts, Paul Roberts, Jeff Messersmith, Dan Messersmith and Bill Kerr. Honorary pallbearers will be Coxie White of Hot Springs, Latta White of Checotah, Oklahoma, Dr. Tom Hollis, Dr. Frank Burton and Dr. D. B. Stough. Pearcy - Theodore James Roberts, 81, of Pearcy died Tuesday, December 12, 2000, at home.
Born July 10, 1919, at Paron, to S. L. and Lizzie M. Roberts, he was a dairy farmer, Baptist, U. S. Navy World War II veteran and former justice of the peace and Southern Farmer Association board member.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Roberts of Pearcy; three sons and daughters-in-law, T. J. and JoAnn Roberts of Altus, Oklahoma, Jerry and Pat Roberts of Hot Springs and Lon and Reba Roberts of Conway; four brothers, Don Roberts of Hot Springs, William Roberts of Sun City, Florida, Allen Roberts of Florida and Dr. Franklin Roberts of Magnolia; one sister, Mary Lou Messersmith of Hot Springs; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hot Springs Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Wade Beam and the Rev. Lynn Baxter officiating.
Pallbearers will be Rhett Roberts, Jamie Roberts, Andy Roberts, Lewis Pittman, Dan Messersmith, and Jeff Messersmith.
Honorary pallbearers are Oscar Miller, Curtis Oliphant, Dr. Mike Bodemann, Will Rogers and Jim Trotter.

T. J. Roberts Jr., 62, of Altus, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Bobby Laws officiating. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. He was born February 26, 1945, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Theodore James Roberts Sr, and Mary Odessa (Taylor). He graduated from Lakeside High School in Hot Springs in 1963 and later earned his BBA. He married Joanne Roberts April 13, 1998, in Vernon, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force serving in Vietnam, Guam and Thailand, retiring as MSgt. He was in insurance sales for a while and later worked at Altus Air Force Base in the Civil Service Department until his retirement in 2001. T. J. was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 33, and the Masonic Lodge for six years. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Cowboy Church in Altus. He enjoyed studying insurance, traveling, E-bay on the computer, photography and walking the trails at Wichita Wildlife Refuge. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father, Theodore James Roberts, Sr. He is survived by his wife of the home; his mother, Odessa Roberts; three daughters, Debora Misock and husband Jim of Ardmore, Mary Schafer and husband Kevin of Oklahoma City, Sue Ann Hoyser and husband Tom of New York; two sons, James Roberts and wife Crystal of Altus, Junior Garza of Colorado; two brothers, Jerry Roberts and wife Pat of Hot Springs, Lonnie Roberts and wife Reba of Conway, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Cottondale, Florida - Victor Allen Roberts, 71, of Cottondale, Florida, died Friday, January 30, 2009.
Born March 18, 1937, in Paron, to Stanford L. and Elizabeth M. Roberts, he was a graduate of Lakeside School and retired from General Motors. He was predeceased by one brother, Theodore J. Roberts, and one sister-in-law, Freda Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Maylene Blocker Roberts, of Cottondale; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy Roberts of Cottondale, and Rodney and Quing Roberts, of Tallahassee, Florida; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Donald L. and Jo Anne Roberts and William S. Roberts, all of Hot Springs, and Franklin D. and Nancy Roberts, of Fort Smith; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Bob Messersmith, of Hot Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Odessa Roberts, of Hot Springs, Lannie and Jimmy Dale Johnson, of Jessieville, and Barbara and Jim Cash, of Texarkana; nephews; nieces; and cousins.

Roberts, William Stanford "Buck"

Buck Roberts Goes to his Reward,
Well Known West Ender Dies at the Age of 71 Years.
W. S. (Buck) Roberts, one of the best known and loved citizens of the West End, passed away at his home in Marble township last Friday, aged 71 years. Funeral services were held at Antioch church Saturday afternoon, services being conducted by E. P. Dodd. Burial was at Antioch cemetery, members of Paron Masonic lodge conducting the last rites at the grave. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife and one son, Stanford. He had been a member of the Methodist church 45 years. He was born and has lived all his life in Marble township, passing away within 3/4 of a mile of the house in which he was born. Robertson, Ruby Irene Hall

Ruby Irene Robertson, age 87, of Hot Springs, beloved wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister-in-law, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at Quapaw Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs.
She was born in the Antioch Community near Malvern on September 28, 1920, to the late Robert Edward and Ethel Elizabeth Siratt Hall. Reared and receiving her education in Hot Spring County, she lived her entire life in the counties of Hot Spring and Garland. During her working life, she had been employed at the General Motors Plant in Jones Mill, and at Lake Catherine Footwear. Mrs. Robertson was a member of the Jones Mill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clark Robertson of Hot Springs, to whom she was married on July 1, 1941; by a son Carl B. Robertson and his wife, Debbie, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; by two grandsons, Brant and his wife Stacey Robertson, and Strett and his wife Brooke Robertson; and by four great-grandsons, Connor, Blake, Caymon, and Paden Robertson, all of Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Robertson was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Pearl Carter, and three brothers, Ray, Roy, and Rex Hall.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon, April 9, 2008, at three o'clock in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Brother Oscar Golden officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Antioch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Tuesday evening from six until eight o'clock.

Mrs. Ada Edgin Robinson, aged 91, of Benton died Friday. She was a member of the Owensville Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Clay Robinson of Benton; four daughters, Mrs. Henry Bearden, Mrs. Charlie Cockmon and Mrs. Hank Combs, all of Benton, and Mrs. Herman Vaughn of Minden, Louisiana; a brother, Roy Edgin of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister, Mrs. Miller Granger of Hot Springs; 16 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Clay Robinson of Benton died Thursday. He was 80.
Survivors are his wife, Bertha Daniel Robinson; four daughters, Marilyn Warford of Bryant, Janeese Fason of Little Rock, Mary Funk of North Little Rock and Brenda Anderson of Spanish Fort, Alabama; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Robinson, Guinn Ervin

Texas City, Texas - Guinn Ervin Robinson went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 13, 2008. He was born on June 27, 1935. He fought a long battle and left this world in peace and comfort with many Angels and his daughter, Wendy, at his side. He was a man of tremendous Faith and loved his family, friends, and his Lord with all his heart.  He is survived by and in the hearts of his wife, Owena Robinson; daughters, Wendy Robinson, Debbie Robinson, Janet Aldridge and husband Charles Aldridge; and son, Phillip Nelson; grandchildren, Jeremy Robinson, Stephanie Nelson and fiance John Ramirez, Johnathan Nelson, Cole Nelson, Licia Morris and husband Eddie Morris; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Doug, Dan, Ray, Ralph and Scott Robinson; and sister, jane Grebe. He had many, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Gibb Robinson; his brother, Phillip Robinson; and his sister, Barbara Cothern.  He made and kept friends all over the country but of special mention are his classmates from the Class of '53 at Fountain Lake High School in Owensville, Arkansas. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of George R. Reeves Masonic Lodge in Pottsboro, Texas, and he was a member of the Dallas Scottish Rite. For the past couple of years, he has received great care and love from the staff of Hospice Care Team. Of special mention are Kristina, Linda M., Linda F., Robert, Carl, and Pastor Hampton. They are all angels. He spent his last days in the loving care of the staff at Harbor View Care Center in League City. Jacksonville - Wade Phillip Robinson of Jacksonville, formerly of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, December 20, 1995. He was 50.
He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Hot Springs.

Dorothy M. Rogier, 86, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2002. She was born at Cleburne, Texas, on February 18, 1915, and had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1987. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Rogier on October 31, 1999. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Edgar Boeck of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Cindy Moya and husband, Steve of Albuquerque, Dennis Boeck and wife, Joyce, and Rick Boeck and wife, Val, all of Dallas; and six great-grandchildren.
