Yandell, DeArthur

DeArthur, 75, a resident of Chickasha, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on September 1, 2009.
He was born March 22, 1934, in Hawkins, Oklahoma, to Dr. Isaac Wilson and Dovie (Lee) Yandell. DeArthur dedicated his life as a young man to serving the Lord and others with all his heart. He ministered for 58 years. DeArthur pastored churches in Oklahoma and California for many years, and the Chickasha Freewill Baptist from 1999 to this past April, when he preached his last sermon on Easter Sunday. DeArthur annually attended the Oklahoma State and National Associations of the Freewill Baptist Churches, and the State Ministers Conference of Free Will Baptists, where he made many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Austell and Herschel Lloyd; and sisters, Celia Yandell, and Iona Kinsey; half-brothers, Leonard, Bill, Lacy Yandell; and half-sister, Ora Newville.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Winnie M. (Vance) Yandell; sons, Douglas "Mark" Yandell and wife Sharon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Randall Vance Yandell of Norman and wife Terry of Hallsville, Texas, David DeWayne Yandell of Oklahoma City; brothers, L. D. Yandell and wife, Merleen of Oklahoma City and Vernon V. Yandell of Norman, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Jeremiah Yandell and wife Lindsey, Joshua Yandell and wife LeAnn, Adam Yandell and wife Jessica, Matthew Yandell and wife Kim, Aaron Yandell, Anna Yandell, Brittany Yandell, Jason Yandell, Thayer Yandell; five great-grandchildren, Emily Gail Yandell, Silas Davis Yandell, Ronin Isaac Yandell, Collin Mark Yandell, and Jakob Lee Minton; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Viewing and visitation at the funeral home will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday evening. Services to celebrate his life will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, 5400 S. Blackwelder, Oklahoma City. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Non Cemetery in Non, Oklahoma.

Yandell, Randall Vance

Randall Vance Yandell, 52 of Springdale passed away Friday, February 13, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born July 24, 1962, in Tulare, California, to Rev. DeArthur and Winnie Mae Vance Yandell.
Randall was a member of the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale and was a beloved teacher of God's word. Over the past few years, he devoted himself to an intense study of the Bible. he worked for Frito-Lay for over 25 years, and was the recipient of numerous National and Regional awards. He enjoyed fishing and was a lifelong Sooner fan. He was also a big fan of his wife Susan who provided such loving care during his battle with cancer.
Survivors include his his mother, Winnie Mae Yandell, his wife, Susan Wilcox Yandell of the home; four sons, Matthew Yandell and wife Kim of Longview, Texas, Aaron Yandell of Hallsville, Texas, Jason Yandell of Longview, Texas and Christian Pianalto of Fayetteville; two daughters, Anna Rushing and husband Josh of Harleton, Texas, and Hannah Pianalto of the home; two brothers, Mark Yandell and wife Sharon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and David Yandell of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Krystina, Blake, Emily, Levi all of Longview, Texas, and Henry and Lillian Rushing of Harleton, Texas.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church.
