Pattle Family History

In Memory of Roger Temple Pattle and Norman Hamilton Miller

The Pattle Family History research originated with my grandmother and my brother, both since passed on. We had a superb researcher in Australia - Norman Hamilton Miller - who died on November 25, 1996. Right now, that leaves me, Mary Pattle Hover. I am trying to solve Pattle mysteries, Pattle branches, place "Miscellaneous Pattles", find Ancient Pattles and Newborn Pattles and In-Between Pattles. I suffer the frustration of Pattles not answering my e-mails, when I find them on the Internet during my Pattle Searches! So I keep pestering them...

My brother was Roger Temple Pattle, born 1934. My father was Horace Leonard Pattle, who passed away on December 28, 2000. My paternal grandmother was Kate Eliza Andrews Pattle, married to my Grandfather, Leonard Daniel Pattle.

The Pattle Tree has several branches - England, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and possibly elsewhere. If you are a Pattle and are reading this, please e-mail me and let me know who you are! I will give out any information, print charts for you, or send you a picture of the Pattle Crest.

All branches of the family are tied in to the earliest Pattles in the 1500's in Suffolk, except the Miscellaneous "Mini-Trees" and the London/India Branch, which has a missing link to the Main Suffolk Branch.

This is what I have so far:

Main Branch

Australian Branch

London/Indian Branch

Miscellaneous Branch

Miller Branch (composite of the above)

Help me put new buds & blossoms on the Pattle Family Tree!

The Mystery Island - Do you have any information??
