Elizabeth Smith Paxson was the daughter of Samuel Paxson Jr. and his wife Sarah Pearson.
On the left is Samuel Paxson Hutchinson, b. 18 Oct. 1838; d. 4 June 1928.
At the right is Samuel's son, Cadwallader Wickersham Hutchinson, b. 14 Feb. 1874; d. 29 May 1950.
In the center is Cadwallader's son, Frederick Brunet Hutchinson, b. 24 Oct. 1897; d. 22 Oct. 1982.
The little girl in front is a daughter of Frederick.
The photo was taken ca. 1924 somewhere near Temple University in Philadelphia. Samuel Paxson Hutchinson's son-in-law was said to have played an important role in establishing Temple's Dental School.

The Great Central Fair for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware opened June 7, 1864, in support of the U.S. Sanitary Commission. Temporary buildings and exhibits were erected near Logan Square in Philadelphia.
