Admiralty, 3rd June, 1867.

My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty have been pleased under the authority of Her Majesty's Order is Council of the 17th May, 1867, to establish the following Regulations with regard to the Full Pay and Half Pay of the Naval Instructors in Her Majesty's Fleet, but they are not to apply to Naval Instructors who are also Chaplains:

  Full Pay,
per diem
Half Pay,
per diem
  s. d. s. d.
Naval Instructors having less than five years' service, to receive 10 0 5 0
      provided they shall have served three years
Naval Instructors having more than five and less than ten years' service, to receive 11 6 6 0
Naval Instructors having more than ten and less than fifteen years' service, to receive 14 0 7 6
Naval Instructors having more than fifteen and less than twenty years' service, to receive 1 0 10 6
  a-day in addition for each year's service after fifteen years, but not to exceed 16s.    
Naval Instructors having more than twenty years' service, to receive     12 0

The New Scales of Full and Half Pay to commence from the 1st April, 1867, but only those naval Instructors who may have been serving on that date, or who may have thereafter served, are to be entitled to the benefits of these Regulations.
