THE MASONIC HALL |

The Masonic Hall. Victoria Square, was erected in 1898 for the flourishing Masonic fraternity "Portland Lodge " (No 1037). The building is a plain unpretentious structure in external appearance. It contains a spacious assembly hall, which is in constant demand for public gatherings. Above the Assembly Halt is a large handsomely appointed Lodge room, &c.
Principal officers :- Captain Richard Lano. Worshipful Master ; William Henry Baker, Senior Warden, William Pearce, Junior Warden.
