George R. Elmore from the State of Tennessee  May(?) State of Tennessee No. 3605
To all to whom this session shall come greeting know ye that for and in consideration of the Sum of twelve and one-half cents per acre paid into the office of the entry taker of Robertson County and entered on the third day of July 1824 pursuant to the provision of an Act of the General Assembly of said State passed on the twenty second day of November one thousand and eight hundred and twenty three by No. 107 thus is granted by the said State of Tennessee unto George R. Elmore a certain tract or parcel of land containing ten acres by survey bearing date the 13th day of October 1825, lying in said County on the waters of the Sulphur fork of Red River and bounded as follows to west Beginning on a small white Oak Nathan Clark’s South East corner runs South forty to a stake and pointers on the point of a ridge thence West, crossing a branch near a Spring forty poles to a white Oak and black Oak near the branch thence North, crossing the branch again forty poles to a white Oak thence East crossing said branch forty poles to the Beginning with the hereditaments and appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land, with its appurtenances, to the said George R. Elmore and his heirs forever.
In witness whereof, William Carroll Governor of the State of Tennessee, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the Great Seal of the State to be affixed at Nashville on the nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and twenty six and of the Independence of the United States this fiftyieth.
