Harrison.  She died in 1874.  Nine children was the result of this union, of whom, only three are living.  Mr. Elmore was again married in 1878, to Martha  Chinneworth.  One child was the result of this union.  Mrs. Elmore died in 1891.  Mr. Elmore was again married in 1894 to Margaret Epperson.  Mr. Elmore died August 11, 1896, leaving a widow and three children to mourn his loss.  Weep not, as those who mourn without hope, for you can meet him in that sunbright clime, where parting is no more.  Mr. Elmore was a prominent man in the community.  His place will be hard to fill.  He took a leading part in the political issues of the day, and in all public affairs he was the acknowledged leader in this community.  This community extends their sympathy to the bereaved family.
