| TRAVIS ELMORE WILL Recorded Robt. Co. Tn. Will Bk. 2 pgs. 373-374-375 In the name of God Amen. I, Travis Elmore of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee being far advanced in years but of perfect mind and memory and knowing that is is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this to be my last will and Testament as follows to wit: First, I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a christian like manner. Secondly, as to the worldly estate which it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life it is my will and desire it should be disposed of as follows viz; Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Elmore all my estate both real and personal during her life to be disposed of in said manner as she may think proper except such articles as is herein ______ and bequeathed Item, I give and bequeath to my son George Elmore one dollar-- Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Jamima Goodman one dollar-- Item, I give and bequeath to my son Julius Elmore one dollar-- Item, I give and bequeath to my son Henry Elmore one dollar-- Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Stapleton one dollar-- Item, I give and bequeath to my grandson Thomas Hibdon one ____ gray horse colt to him and his heirs forever-- Item, I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Polly Hibdon one cow and calf and one feather bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever-- Item, I give and bequeath to my grandson and grand daughter Peter Hibdon and Elizabeth Hibdon one dollar cash and Lastly , I nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife Mary Elmore sole executor of this my last will and testament revoking and annulling disallowing all former wills by me made ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In testimony where of I hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this nineteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen.
