"Jay" EASON, April 15 1894 in the community of Sweet Lips, Chester Co TN. Jay died March 5 1898 in Chester Co TN. Children: (1) Robert Harmon EASON Sept 8 1896 - March 7 1984   (2) Vassie Jay Eason born March 5 1898 married Hugh Ned JONES.  Jay Eason died mid-morning and Vassie was born a few hours later, in mid-afternoon.)     Nancy married 2nd William Isaac SMITH (1882 - 1905) after 1898. Children: (3) Vera Mae SMITH born May 13 1903 died Jan 6 1970.       Nancy Wilson McEWEN (Wilson is her middle name) was born Oct 10 1875. She died April 7 1957. She died in Madison Co TN at Heidelberg Rest Home where she had been 3 months. She was divorced from her 3rd husband. Her usual place of residence had been Chester Co TN. She was born in Madison Co TN as per death certificate (wrong born McNairy Co TN) daughter of L. C. [Larkin] Cochran and Abbie Zilla Wylie. The informant was a son, Hamon Eason of Henderson TN.     (She was born in the Sweet Lips Community, McNairy County TN. When she died the Sweet Lips area was Chester County TN)

      Thomas Charles COCHRAN born July 19 1878 in Madison Co, TN, died Sept 20 1937 in Chester Co, TN. He was a farmer and resided at Henderson TN. His spouse was Lessie Cochran (COTHRAN). His father was Larkin Cochran born in McNairy Co TN. His mother was Abie Wiley. the informant was Houston Cochran (son), Pinson TN.   Thomas Charles Cochran was buried Big Springs Cemetery, Madison Co TN.   (Big Springs Methodist Cemetery is East of Pinson TN at "Five Points".)

Charles Houston COCHRAN, 84, retired farmer, died February 11 1994 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after an apparent heart attack. Services at George A. Smith & Sons South Funeral Home with burial in Big Springs United Methodist Cemetery near Pinson. He was a member of the Big Springs United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge No 485. Mr Cochran, the husband of Margaret Sauls Cochran, also leaves a daughter, Martha Ann Childress of Pinson TN; a sister, Mary Nell Johnson of Henderson, and a grandson.

Allen Jones Cole was born on 31 Jul 1823 in SC. He died in 1893 in Nevada County, Ark.     He married Ellen C Brown on October 19 1852. A child was, Laura Rebecca Cole.   Ellen C Brown was born October 18 1836. She died on January 17 1923 in Little Rock Ark.     Allen Jones Cole is a grandson of Jacob & Martha JONES.   Allen Jones Cole was the son of Sarah JONES & Sidney COLE.

      Mary was born about 1738-42, probably Virginia. She married about 1755 William Collins. Mary Collins, (She was living in Pittsylvania Co VA on Nov 9 1799), died 1807 in Wilson Co TN.     William Collins born about 1734 in Virginia died 1781 in Pittsylvania Co VA.
Children:   (1) Joshiah Collins born May 2 1757   (2) Elisha Collins born Nov 30 1759   (3) Elizabeth Collins born Aug 28 1760 in Pittsylvania Co VA. She died Jan 8 1842 in McNairy Co TN. Margaret Ann Craver born 1842 married first Andrew Jackson Peddy, born 1818, he died 1871 at Marshall Tx. After his death Margaret married on Dec 29 1875 Pryor Lewis Williams in Marion Co TX. Margaret's children were Andrew Jackson "Jack" Peddy born Nov 1871 and 2 Williams children. She married second George W. Williams, married third or first J.W.Deckerts in 18xx.

      When Joseph Crosswy registered for WWI he lived at 5th Ave E, Springfield TN. He was employed by Farmers Bank and Trust, Springfield TN. When he registered June 5 1917 he had a dependent wife and one child under age 13.

      Joseph A CROSSWY was born Jan 9 1889. He died Jan 1968. He was buried Jan 17 1968 in Oakhill Cemetery, Lakeland FL.   A daughter, Margaret married Albry J Peddy. After he died she married Robert Elias Lee. Margaret CROSSWY PEDDY LEE died Oct 14 2001 at Lakeland FL.

CUTTINO

George Peddy CUTTINO was born March 19 1914 in Newnan GA, son of David Smith Cuttino II and his wife, Katie May Peddy.     His education was at: Swarthmore Collage, BA 1935.   Univ of Iowa, MA 1936.   Oxford Univ, D Phil 1938.   University of London postdoctoral study 1938-39.       He served in the US Army Intelligence 1942 - 1946 and 1951 - 52, becoming a Major, receiving a Bronze Star.
George Peddy Cuttino edited and published "Saddle Bags and Spinning Wheels", the Civil War Letters between his grandfather, Dr George W Peddy and his grandmother, Kate Featherston Peddy.   Dr Cuttino also wrote other history books, mostly on Medievel History.

George Peddy Cuttino never married and he died Oct 4 1991 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta GA.

His grandfather was Benjamin Thomas Cuttino.    
CUTTINO     Graduate Swarthmore CollegeClass of 1935.

His Papers have been deposited at Woodruff Library, Emory University, Atlanta GA.   These papers include some PEDDY Genealogy and also some FEATHERSTON Genealogy.
