      Margaret PEDDY is shown in the Cass City (MI) Chronicle, Friday, June 17, 1932 as the widow of James Walters born May 3 1868 in Elmwood Township. He was united in marriage with Miss Maggie Peddy. They lived in Elmwood until 1919 when his family moved to Imlay City and a few years later to Royal Oak. Two years ago, they went to Pentwater where they have resided since.   Mr Walters died June 7 1932. Their sons were Eldon, Caro, William and Lee Walters of Detroit. Also surviving was his mother, Catherine Walters and others.   He was buried in Imlay City Cemetery, Imlay, Lapeer Co, MI.

Lieutenant Trooper came with us to Shelby County in May 1865. served as a courier and fought in the Battle of Mansfield.   PENSION: #21948     PARENTS: John D. and Mary Elizabeth Durham Pou     COMMENTS: Texas 1855 in Panola County for 5 years. PRUITT
      Kenneth E. PRUITT, Sr., 73, of Senatobia, died Saturday, September 29 2002 at Baptist Progressive Care in Southaven Mississippi.   Mr. Pruitt was the agency manager of Tate County Farm Bureau for 33 years, where he retired in 1996, past director of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, a Mason, a Shriner, one of the founding members of Back Acres Country Club, where he was past president, and a member of First Baptist Church in Senatobia, where he taught Sunday School. Graveside services were held Wednesday, October 2 at Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia MS.
      Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife, Joyce Pruitt of Senatobia; two daughters, Sandra Parker and Linda Thompson, both of Memphis; two sons, Kenneth E. Pruitt, Jr. of Memphis and Jeffrey E. Pruitt of Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Charlyne Phelps of Southaven; and six grandchildren.
