Wanda was the second of three daughters born to John and Daisy (Wells) Riggs. As such she was deeply loved by both her elder and younger siblings. Being the younger of her sisters, I admired and revered her, seeking her thoughts and advice on life's issues. As we matured and went about raising families of our own, we were geographically separated, she living in Michigan and I living in Pennsylvania. Fortunately the internet came into being and we were thus able to continue a close bond. Her daughter, Tammy, introduced her to the world of genealogy which she promptly introduced to me. This endeavor enabled us to share many years of researching for our family histories. Eventually, her health failing, it was with great sadness that I understood she was no longer able to participate. Not having seen Wanda in many years, her passing has found me unprepared to say goodby. Creating this small memorial tribute to her has helped me to adjust to her death. As I continue our effort to complete our family history she will always remain in my heart . I would like to share with you her lovely Obituary.
