1. Wilson PIERCE b. 1811, GA, m. 27 Nov 1835, in (Hall) GA, Nancy BARTON, b. cir 1816, GA, (daughter of Henry BARTON and Mary (Polly) THOMASON) d. aft 1880. Wilson died aft 1892.

Wilson bought Lot #27 (11 Dist) 250 ac. in Hall Co., GA in 1839. Wilson bought about 700 ac. in Lumpkin Co., GA from 1849-1855 including two land lots and about 9 gold lots--about 2 miles north of Hightower Bapt Church. In 1873 Wilson bought Lot #3 (11 Dist) in Hall Co., GA from the estate of his father-in-law and apparently moved back to Hall Co. at that time. In 1892 Wilson gave 10 ac. of land in Lumpkin Co. to his grandchildren, Julia and Malinda Coley (Daughters of Permelia) who also lived in Hall Co.

In about 1885 they moved to Indian Territory (later Oklahoma), then shortly after, went to Kansas. Apparently the families of Newton Pierce and Columbus Roberts moved with them. In 1889, James and Columbus moved back to Indian Territory and settled in the Ft. Gibson area in Cherokee Nation. After James' death, Hulda lived with Roy. Hulda: Remains were moved to a masoleum at Greenhill Cem. in Muskogee.

CA, buried: Woodlawn Cem., Santa Monica, CA. Roy's brother Andrew moved from Ft. Gibson, OK to Checotah where he married Lannie's mother Amanda. At the wedding, Roy met Lannie and they were later married in Checotah. They lived with Roy's mother in Ft. Gibson until 1912 when they moved to McBride onto land given to Earl Boyd Pierce because of him being part Indian. Around 1917, Roy and Lannie moved to Checotah and Roy's mother, Hulda, lived with them. Roy owned a store four miles east of Checotah . Roy and family moved to West Los Angeles, CA in 1936.

Lee died 27 Mar 1969, Lamont (Kern) CA, buried: Arvin Cem. (Kern) CA. Lee and Jessie moved from OK to CA in 1936 with Roy and Lannie Pierce. Lived in Arvin until 1958 when they moved to Tehachapi, CA where Lee was the forman on a cattle ranch and raised cattle for Albert Angus. They moved to Lamont in 1968 due to Lee's heart condition.

Gibson, OK from Oct. 11, 1911 to Apr. 30, 1936--named after Dr. George McBride.
