THE EARLY PINKERTONS
by
Margaret Pinkerton Fitchett
At the time of my grandfather's death, my mother was 18 years old.
Her youngest sister Clarice was 18 months old.
Clarice in later years, would ask my mother about their father. I would be sitting on a stool at the fireside.
The following story is my memory of those days.
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 |
Chapter 6 | Chapter 7 | Chapter 8 | Chapter 9 | Chapter 10 |
Chapter 11 | Chapter 12 | Chapter 13 |
