One Name Study on the Surnames POINTING, POYNTING and POINTIN:
DNA PROJECT TO REVEAL WHETHER THERE ARE COMMON ORIGINS FOR DIFFERENT FAMILIES WITH THE SURNAMES SIMILAR TO:
POINTING, POYNTING, POINTIN, POINTON, PONTING etc
A simple, painless (!) genealogical DNA test can be used to establish whether two men, with these surnames, share a common ancestor, and can give an idea of when that ancestor lived.
A project has been initiated to test men who represent the different lines. Ideally, we want several volunteers from each line.
If you are a male POINTING ( or similar surname) and would like to participate please either contact me, or apply directly for a test kit.
