P O L L Taken by HENRY MONTAGUE Esq; (Sheriff of the County of SUSSEX) AT THE City of CHICHESTER, On THURSDAY and FRIDAY the Ninth and Tenth Days of May 1734. For the ELECTION of Two KNIGHTS to serve for the said County in this present PARLIAMENT. CANDIDATES The Rt. Hon. HENRY PELHAM Esq; JAMES BUTLER Esq; Sir CECILL BISSHOPP Bart.; JOHN FULLER Esq; �There may be many Mistakes in the spelling Persons Names and Places, the Clerks, in the Hurry of an Election, taking them by the Sound as the People Spoke them; but where they were known, they are here rectify�d; so that in those Places they will differ from the Poll-Books, which are in the Hands of the Clerk of the Peace, otherwise they are right, according to the Copy of the Poll-Book delivere�d by the Sheriffs Clerk.� |
