Crash Victim Buried At Livingston "Livingston-(Spl)-Rites were held Monday for Mrs. Liza Frances Green, 69, Polk County County's tenth traffic victim this year. She was killed Saturday night while walking across Highway 59, just south of town, after attending a movie at the Chief Drive-In, near the home, with a companion, Mrs. Lucile Nelson. Dennis W. Cliburn, 29, of 8901 Laura Koppe Road, Houston, dock foreman for the Southern Barge Terminal, was charged with murder with a motor vehicle. He was in the company truck. He was released on $2500 bond, set by Justice Hugh Millican. In the truck also were Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Satterwhite of Houston. The were en route to Grapeland to visit relatives. Highway Patrolmen D. W. Hicks and Richard Thompson quoted Cliburn as saying the lights of an approaching car blinded him. Officiating at the Pace Chapel here was Robert Walters. Surviving are the husband, Jim Green; two sons, C.F. & Sibil, both of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Walker, Mrs. Opal Brannan, and Mrs. Alva Willis, all of Houston."
