Last Rites Are For
Richard Nelson Hughes          Funeral service for Richard Nelson Hughes, 74, who died at his home near Livingston early Saturday morning, were held at 4:30 Saturday afternoon at the First Baptist Church. Rev. W. B. Wadsworth and Rev. A. E. Riemann officiated. Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery.
         Mr. Hughes was born in Alabama but had been a resident of Livingston for many years. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. R. O. Cherry, New Waverly; Mrs. J. P. Lovett, Juneau, Alaska; Mrs. Ed Thomas, Livingston; Mrs. L. Z. Bean, Houston; and Miss Nellie Jewel Hughes, Livingston.
         Pace-Stancil Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
