Wallace Artman Butler was born 
April 1, 1890, at Pickney-now known as Midway.  He was the son of George Madison Butler and Ella Victoria Parker Bulter.

Mary "Molly" Thomas Butler,
born Apr.16, 1868, Woods Creek/ Midway; died June 6, 1956; 
daughter of Thomas M. Butler and Mary Ann Banks; married James Milton Treadway Aug.19, 1888.
This photo was found in the old home site of Mary Thomas Butler Treadway in Midway.  It is possibly her mother, Mary Ann Banks Butler, the second wife of Thomas Butler.

Mary Banks married Thomas M. Butler in 1847 in Stewart Co. GA.  They arrived at Midway in 1856.

     Melody Butler Kellar is the ggg-grandaughter of Thomas M. Butler who settled in Midway, Texas in 1856.  Her direct Butler line includes:  Elbert Elias Butler s/o Jesse Lee Butler s/o George Madison Butler s/o Thomas Madison Butler.
     She is doing extensive research on the 7 generations of her Butler family.  Other surnames that are linked with her line of Butlers are: Harrison, Banks, Treadway, Bailey, Nunez, Waldrep, Hales, McKee, & Parker. 
     Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated.
