provisions of an act entitled an “Act to provide for the registration of the Separate
Property of Married Women”

Ten Cows & Calves marked with a crop and under bit in the left ear, and  an under
square in the right ear, and to be branded with RN (Symbol).  Four Sows and pigs  Six
Sholes making in all thirty three in No.s   The Cows are named as follows
1st Frost – Browny – Whitey – Heart – Redy – Cherry – Speck – Star – Lady – and Polly

personally appeared Rebecca C. Nicks and   W. Nicks her husband, known to me to be
the persons whose names are Subscribed to the above Schedule and acknowledged the
property described in the Same to be the Separate Property of the Said Rebecca C. Nicks.
