Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet / If you're here, then you probably know about Cyndi's List. Who doesn't?

USGenWeb / Pretty much every county in the U.S. has a GenWeb site full of information about that county.

The LDS Church web site / Genealogy is a major part of LDS church life, and this site accesses many of their holdings. Their Family History Centers have access to much more data and research and their use is vital to sourcing and supporting much of what you find online.

Library of Virginia collection / The LOV contains many documents pertaining to early Virginia.
