My Most Wanted List
ELIZABETH PREECE~ daughter of Alexander Boone and Lovina Stratton Preece. Elizabeth was born February 09, 1833 in Floyd County, KY. She married first Sampson Moore, February 10, 1853. They had 3 children. Vina Jane, b. 1854, Mary A. 1857 and Labon D. Moore, 1860. In Alexander Boone Preece's Will dated 1873, her last name was Smith. The last record I have of her, was when she was living with Sampson and children in the 1860 census.
LOUISA BLACKBURN PREECE~ was born in Pike Co., KY in 1846. She married Henry Harvey Preece, December 24, 1865, in Johnson County, KY. Her parents were Daniel Blackburn and Nancy Maynard Blackburn. I'm hoping to find a photo of her for the Photo Album. Also, I know nothing of her after 1880. Does anyone have further information on her?
JANE PREECE~ daughter of Richard Lincoln and Elizabeth Price Preece, married Thomas Hackworth, November 05, 1816 in Floyd Co., KY. I am hoping to find further information on her.
Who were the parents of RICHARD PREECE who married Caty Newland, February 14, 1811, in Floyd Co., KY? I suspect this was Alexander Boone Preece, Sr.'s brother. But I have no proof. Does anyone know this Newland family?
Who is the SARAH JANE PREECE who married, December 24, 1865, in Johnson County to Lewis Howard? They were married the same day as Henry Harvey Preece and Louisa Blackburn, with the same witnesses. How was she related to HH?
