Klemperer invented and patented a visual flight simulator and the pressurized flight cabin. He is probably best known for his work on Properties of Rosette Configurations of Gravitating Bodies in Homographic Equilibrium, which have been named after him as Klemperer rosettes. . in 1924 Klemperer emigrated to the USA, where he joined Goodyear-Zeppelin Corporation in Acron, Ohio.. From 1936 onwards Klemperer worked for Douglas Aircraft Company, Santa Monica, California.. In 1958 he became director of the guided missile research section, staff assistant to the vice-president, and director of product development..
