See Friedmann ancestors (and below note) of Arthur, who was a Captain in the Austrian army during WW-I. He kept a riding horse on their Sternberg (now Šternberk), Czechoslovakia Heeg & Friedmann factory property, enjoying the rides in and around the city during his visits, something he could not do in their home city; 4 Bellariastrasse, Vienna-1.
