I Geo. T. Barrett have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Jane Walker and her heirs forever for the consideration of fifteen hundred dollars, one third cash, the balance one and two years a tract of land in the State of Tennessee Sumner County and District No. 10 containing by estimation seventy seven acres be it more or less and bounded as follows: Beginning at a point the center of Station Camp Creek a Sycamore pointer; thence East 104 poles to a White Oak; thence South 89 1/2 degrees E 100 poles to a stake pointer; thence South 51 poles to a stake; thence East 45 1/10 poles; thence N 14 degrees East 29 3/10; thence N 4 degrees W 16 poles; thence N 14 1/2 degrees E 12 poles to a White Oak; thence N 44 degrees W 19 poles to a Beech; thence N 62 1/2 degrees West 30 poles to a Sugar Tree; thence N 23 1/2 degrees W 8 poles to a White Oak; thence N 52 degrees W 28 poles to a stake and Beech pointer; thence N 66 1/2 degrees W 11 4/10 poles to a large Buck; thence North 20 poles crossing the creek to an Elm stump; thence S 79 1/2 degrees W 64 poles to a Sycamore; thence S 65 degrees W 104 poles to a Sycamore; thence S 38 degrees W 40 poles to the beginning. To have and to hold to the said Jane Walker and her heirs and assigns forever. We do covenant with said Jane Walker and her heirs and assigns forever. We do covenant with said J. Walker that we are lawfully seized of said land have a good right to convey it  and that the same is unencumbered. We do further covenant and bind ourselves our heirs and representatives to warrant and defend every part thereof to the said Jane Walker her heirs and assigns against the lawful surveyor of all whatever, reserving a right of way to water timber this March 6th 1876. State of Tennessee, Sumner County - Personally appeared before me Jesse Cage, Clerk of the County Court of said county George T. Barrett the bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that the execution of the foregoing instrument for the purposes therein contained.
