Whereas at a sale of land ordered by the Chancery Court of Sumner County in the case of B. N. Flemming Administrator, et al vs. Uritha Henry et al, and that on the 8th day of November 1873, B. N. Flemming became the purchaser of the following described tract of land situated and lying in the 11st District of Sumner County, Tennessee, and bounded as follows: Beginning at an Elm at the mouth of Otter Fork of Bledsoe Creek; thence South 56 degrees East 132 poles to big Elm standing on the North side of Otter Fork; thence North 42 1/2 degrees East 71 poles 18 links to a hickory; with leaning hickory; thence East 100 poles to a stake Aklin Perdue corner; thence with Perdue line North 60poles to a stake near an apple tree, Aklin Perdue's corner; thence with his line East 66 poles to a stake (once a beech); thence South 8 poles to a stake; thence East 100 poles to a poplar; thence North 38 poles to a stake, near an old field known as the quarter; thence North 80 poles bearing East of a spring to a stake; thence West 182 1/2 poles to a stake in the W. C. Meador line; thence South 75 poles to a stake; South to corner of B. N. Flemming's home tract; thence West 240 poles crossing Bledsoe's Creek to a stake in the Bluff; thence South 80 poles to the beginning, containing 310 acres more or less. And whereas by decree entered in said cause, June 7th 1880, it was decreed that the said purchaser, B. N. Flemming had paid all the purchase money for the said land and the title to the same divested out of the heirs of Thomas White, deceased, and vested in the said B. N. Flemming and his heirs forever. And the C. & M. of the Chancery Court directed to make a deed to the said land, to the said B. N. Fleming & his heirs forever. Now, therefore George Boddie, C. & M. of the Chancery Court aforesaid by virtue of the power in me vested by said decree, do hereby transfer unto B. N. Flemming and his heirs forever, all the right, title, interest, and claim described in as full and complete a manner as I as C. & M. made and by virtue of said decree ought or should, but in no other manner. Witness my hand at office this 14th day of June 1899. George W. Boddie, C. & M.

State of Tennessee, Sumner County - Personally appeared before me Harris Brown, Clerk of the County Court of said county, the within named George W. Boddie, C. & M., the bargainor, with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within instrument for the purposes therein contained.
