State of Tennessee  }  Know all men by these presents that I J. D. Johnson for and
Sumner County        }  in consideration of three hundred dollars to me in
hand paid the acknowledgement of which is hereby given have this day bargained Sold, released and do by these presents convey unto E. J. Johnson and M. D. Johnson my entire and undivided interest both real and personal in the Estate of my father Wm. Johnson Dec'd.  Said real estate is Situated in the 16th Civil District of the aforesaid county and state and bounded as follows:  Beginning at a Post oak North E. corner of said tract and corner to three other tracts running West one hundred and twenty two poles to a dead Post oak with pointers, thence South 26 poles to a Post oak, thence West 51 poles to a black Jack in the field, thence South crossing the cave Spring 74 poles to a red oak with pointers Jesse Skeen's East boundary line of his McKinny tract, thence North with his line 100 poles to the Beginning containing by Estimation one hundred acres be same more or less, to have and to hold said interest to the said E. J. and M. D. Johnson and their heirs forever.  I do furthermore covenant with the said E. J. & M. D. Johnson that I am lawfully seized of said interest that it is unencumbered and that I have a good right to convey it, and that I will warrant and forever defend the title of said interest in said land to the said E. J. & M. D. Johnson their heirs and representatives against any legal claims whatever.  In testimony of which I hereto set my hand and seal on this 25th day of Aug. A. D. 1882.
