State of Tennessee  }  I M. E. Johnson wife of J. D. Johnson the
Sumner County        }  bargainor in the above deed executed Aug. 25th 1882 by him to E. J. Johnson and M. D. Johnson do this day (to secure said parties) ratify, agree, concur and join my husband J. D. Johnson in this conveyance freely voluntarily and understandingly of my own will and accord relinquishing all rights that I may have had in said conveyance.  In testimony of which I set my hand and seal on this 25th Oct. 1886.

Sumner County         }  Personally appeared before me W. T. McGlothlin Notary Public in and for said county and State Mrs. M. E. Johnson wife of J. D. Johnson, who having the above instrument read and explained to her privately and apart from her husband assigned it freely, voluntarily and understandingly as her act deed without compulsion or constraint by her said husband and for the purposes therein expressed.
