21 January 1841

Received of Wm. M. Harris and Jacob Beason one Black mare, one sorrel filly, two beds, and furniture, four trunks, eight chairs, one Negro Girl Peggy and a Bill of Sale given by Jno. A. McKendree for a Negro Boy named Harvey and four notes of hand on James McKendree (viz) one for seventy dollars due 18th July 1834, one for fifty four Dollars and ninety cents due the 18th of July 1834, one for one hundred dollars due 12th November 1840, and one for thirty dollars due 8th of April 1840, one on Dudley E. McKendree for thirty seven dollars due 6th March 1838, one Note on A. A. Harvey,  J. A. McKendree and D. E. McKendree for forty two dollars due 25th of December 1840. Two notes John A. McKendree, one for five hundred dollars due 18th Feb. 1840 the other for one hundred dollars due the 6th Dec. 1839, and note for two hundred dollars on John Groves due 20th October 1840 and three hundred dollars in Cash and one note on Allen & John Groves for one hundred and six dollars due 17th June 1841 and one note on William Mays and John McAdams for one hundred Dollars due the 22nd Feby. 1841 Making the balance of the five hundred dollars in cash I deliver over to them in full of all the property notes and money that I placed in their hand, entrust as my trustees in a deed executed by me to them on the 30th of November 1840 which Deed has been recorded and registered and I hereby declare the above mentioned Deed null and void as though it had never been made Given under my hand & Seal this 21st day of January 1841. Signed Sealed and delivered this date above written interlined before assigned.
