William Perry State of Tennessee May 15th 1812
The State of Tennessee No. 2960 - To all to whom these presents shall come greetings Know ye that by virtue of part of certificate No. 210 dated the first day of August 1807 obtained from the bond of commissioners for West Tennessee by Henry Toomer and entered on the 18th day of August 1808 by No. 2209 - There is granted by the State of Tennessee unto William Perry assigned of the said Henry Toomer a certain tract or parcel of Land containing one hundred and fifty one and one fourth acres lying in Robertson County in the first District adjoining the tract of land whereon the said William Perry now lives Beginning at a Hickory the Northwest corner of the said tract and running North one hundred and forty nine poles to a Black Oak; thence East one hundred and sixty two poles to a red oak; thence South with Huey's line one hundred and forty nine poles to a stake in William Benson's line; thence West one hundred and sixty two poles to the beginning, surveyed June 14th 1809 by John Coleman C. S. with the hereditaments & appurtenances. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said William Perry and his heirs forever. In witness whereof Willie Blount Governor of the State of Tennessee hath hereunto set his hand and caused the great seal of the State to be affixed at Knoxville on the fourteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand & Eleven and of the Independence of the United States the thirty fifth.
