Know all men by these presents that I Nancy Rhoads of the County of Cole In the State of Missouri have made constituted and appointed and by these presents do make constitute and appoint Wilson L. Meadow of the County of Cole and State aforesaid my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name place and stead, to enter into and take possession of all the real estate all the personal effects belonging to me situate in the County of Monroe and State of Kentucky and to bargain, sell, grant convey, and confirm the whole or any part thereof for such price or sum of money or on such terms as he may think best, and for me and in my name to make execute acknowledge and deliver unto the purchaser or purchases thereof good and sufficient conveyances, with warranty of the same, and to demand receive and collect all sums of money, which shall become due and payable to me by reason of such sale, or sales giving and granting unto my said attorney full power and authority to do and perform all and any act, and thing whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done in and about the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as I might or could do if personally present with full power of substitution and revocation hereby ratifying and confirming all that

my said attorney or his substitute shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue hereof. In witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of August One Thousand Eight hundred & sixty five. Nancy Rhoads (Seal)

State of Missouri, County of Cole - Be it remembered that Nancy Rhoades who is known to the undersigned Justices of the Peace within and for said County to be the person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing deed, as parties thereto this day appeared before us and acknowledged that she executed and delivered the same as her voluntarily act and deed for the uses and purposes therein contained. Given under our hands this 28th day of August AD. 1865.

McDavit whose name appears to the foregoing certificate of acknowledgement is and was at the time of signing the same an acting Justice of the Peace within aforesaid County duly qualified and commissioned and that full faith and creed are due to his official acts such and that his signature is genuine and in due form of law. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal of said Court this 30th day of August 1865.
