Morton, Josie & Florence Mai Thomasson.....

For the consideration of $500.00 (five hundred dollars) of which is paid to me this day in cash in hand, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I, Nannie Thomasson Hager have this day bargained sold, & do hereby transfer and convey unto, Morton Thomasson, Sr. Josie Thomasson & Florence Mai Thomasson, their heirs and assigns the following described tract or parcel of land lying in District No. 9 Sumner County, Tennessee.

Beginning at a rock in the center of the Red River Road at the north west corner of Mrs. Bettie Thomasson heirs land and running N. 65° _ 30 W. 272 feet to a rock in center of said pike thence S. 3° 15' W. 1720 feet to a rock, Draper's corner, thence N. 2° 45' E. 1462 feet to the beginning, containing 21.18 acres more or less.

To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto the said Morton Thomasson Sr., Josie Thomasson and Florence Mai Thomasson, their heirs and assigns forever, I covenant with them that I am lawfully seized and possessed of said land and have the right to convey it, and that it is unencumbered,  I further covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives, to warrant and forever defend the title to the said

land unto the said Morton Thomasson Sr. Josie Thomasson, and Florence Mai Thomasson their heirs and assigns against of all persons whomsoever.

State of Tennessee, Sumner County,

Personally appeared before me, Harry B. King, a Notary Public in and for said County and State, the within named Nannie Thomasson Hager (unmarried) the bargainor, with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that she executed the within instrument for the purposes therein contained.
