New Years Day snow on the ground January 1, 1946.
John Johnson died January 1, 1946, buried in Spring Hill on Gallatin Road age 61.
Granville went visiting Jan. 1, 1946.
Charlie Woodard died January 4, 1946.
Sunday it rained all night. Hugh was on the sick list January 6, 1946.
High waters in Nashville and other places January 6,7, 8, 9, 10 1946. And still rising.
Mrs. Nannie Webb died Jan. 8, 1946, our mail carrier's

Mrs. Louise Kelly Brinkley died Jan. 9, 1946, wife of Monroe Brinkley Age 83.
Mrs. Muriel Link Austin died Jan. 11, 1946, age 35, daughter of Hols Link.
Irby Family came to see us Jan. 12, 1946.
Franklin C. Doris died Jan. 14, 1946, age 93, Johnnie Legge's wife father.
Irene and Granville went to a hog killing Jan. 14, 1946 at Ernest Bowling.
Jan 16, Wednesday snowing and sleeting and cold.

Henry Rodgers got hurt Jan. 5, 1946, a horse threw him, Granville went to see Henry Jan. 15, 1946.

Uncle Billie Olds died the last of Jan. 1946.
Ruth Harris and Carl E. Jernigan married January 18, 1946.
Janie Ruth Link and Jr. Robertson married January 26, 1946.
Mrs. Alice Bowling came to see us January 26, 1946.
Mrs. Less Durrett spent Friday Eve with us January 31, 1946.

Mrs. Cora Wilkinson died Feb. 17, 1946, age 76 buried in Maple Hill cemetery, Portland, Tenn.

Aunt Dora Johnson came home and spent the day at her home Feb. 22, 1946. Nelson brought her home from her sisters Bettie Mathenson.

Irby's family came to see us Feb. 23, 1946, Granville and Irene went home with them.
A sale at Marshall Wilsons Feb. 23, 1946.
Louise, Beulah and Earnest came after supper Feb. 23, 1946.
Hugh and myself kept house while they were gone to Irbys.
Irene sold her place to Mitchel Summers Feb. 28, 1946.
