Mrs. Victoria Chambers
After an illness of two or three years from cancer, Mrs. Victoria Susan Chambers died at her home near Pleasant Shade about nine o'c1ock Tuesday morning. She was 58 years of age and is survived by her husband, Walter Chambers; one son, Lois Chambers, who resides with his father; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Vinson and Miss Opal Chambers, both of the Pleasant Shade community; three brothers, Will and Sam Gregory, both also of Pleasant Shade; and Paul Gregory, of Fort Worth, Tex.; and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Stone, of Pleasant Shade. Burial was made about noon Wednesday in the family graveyard on Nickojack Branch, following funeral services conducted by the Rev. Ralph M. Strong and I. P. McDonald, from the Pleasant Shade Church of God, of which she was a member. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Gregory.
