DORRIS - Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock, January 15, 1926, at a local infirmary, H. C. Dorris, 54. Survived by wife, Mrs. Beulah Lanier Dorris; sons, Robert and James; daughters, Mrs. Martin Curtis, Mrs. J. J. Hagewood, Margaret, Ruby and Beulah Clayton Dorris; brothers, W. E., A. M., and S. C. Dorris, Hendersonville; J. L. and D. T. Dorris of Nashville, and H. W. Dorris of Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at his home on Walton Lane, this (Saturday) afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. W. J. Watson. Pallbearers will be selected from members of Beech Masonic Lodge, which will have charge of services at the grave. Interment Springhill Cemetery. Cole & Garrett of Goodlettsville, funeral directors.

DORRIS - Friday morning at 1:30 o'clock, March 18, 1927, at her home, seven miles on Gallatin Road, Mrs. Beulah Lanier Dorris, widow of H. Clayton Dorris. Survived by the following children: Mrs. Martin Curtis, Jr., of  Hendersonville, Tenn.; Mrs. J. J. Hagewood, Robert, James, Anna Margaret, Ruby and Beulah Clayton Dorris; brothers, Robert, Lonnie and John Lanier of this city, and Jeff Lanier of Miami, Fla., and one sister, Mrs. Goldie Green, of St. Louis, Mo. Funeral services at the home this (Saturday) morning at 10:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. W. Duncan. The following will serve as pallbearers: R. L. Worsham, Dr. R. N. Buchanan, E. D. Elizer, M. L. DORRIS - Friday morning at 1:00 o'clock, June 20, 1930, at his home seven miles from Gallatin on Long Hollow Pike, William E. Dorris, age 67 years. He is survived by wife, Mrs. Lucy Harris Dorris; daughter, Miss Mildred Dorris; brother, Allen M. Dorris of Hendersonville, J. L. and D. T. Dorris of Nashville, S. C. Dorris of Madison, H. W. Dorris of Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at the Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. T. C. Singleton, assisted by Rev. T. H. Survived by husband, Berry Dorris; children, Norma Lee, Edward Sanders, Jimmy Ruth and R. B. Dorris; sisters, Mrs. William Weaver and Mrs. Vesta Briggs of Greenbrier, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted at Gideon M. E. Church this (Tuesday) afternoon at 1 o'clock by the Rev. Sylvanus Dorris and the Rev. J. T. Cotton. DORRIS - Wednesday evening at 9 o'clock, January 28, 1931, at a local infirmary, Joe Hubinger Dorris, age 16 years. Survived by father, S. C. Dorris of Anqul Station, brother Sidney C. Dorris Jr.; sister, Mrs. Harry Durham of Hendersonville. Remains are at the home of D. T. Dorris, 1225 McChesney Avenue. Leaving the home Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock remains will be conveyed to Beech Presbyterian Church where funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock by Rev. T. C. Singleton. The following will serve as pallbearers: Howard Nix, Lyman Davis, Charles A. Cartwright, George Peay, Robert Gilliam, Thomas Mayfield. Interment in Beech Cemetery. DORRIS - At the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irby Hutchison, Shackle Island, Tenn., Wednesday morning, May 13, 1931, at 9 o'clock, Allen M. Dorris, age 65 years. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Irby Hutchison of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Mrs. G. Dewey Bruce of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, brothers, J. L. and D. T. Dorris of Nashville, S. C. and H. W. Dorris of Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted from Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church Thursday May 14, at 2:30 p. m. by T. C. Singleton assisted by Rev. T. H. Suddarth and Rev. DORRIS - Friday at midnight, March (Part of obit missing.) at her home, Hendersonville, Mrs. ?nry Jane Dorris, age 79 years. She is survived by several sons and daughters. Funeral services will be conducted at the Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church this (Sunday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. W. C. Clayton of Providence, Ky. Dorris; daughter, Miss Gertrude Dorris; brothers, C. C. and W. H. Clendening of Hendersonville, T. B. Clendening of Lorens, Tex. Funeral services will be conducted at the Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church this (Friday) afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. Floyd Huckaba. Pallbearers: J. Survived by wife Maggie Montgomery Dorris; sons, Elba Dorris, Prescott, Arkansas, Roy Dorris, Hendersonville, Grimm Dorris, Gallatin; daughter, Mrs. Andrew Carpenter, Hendersonville; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Remains are at the home as above where funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning December 10 at 11:00 o'clock by Rev. J. G. Johnson assisted by Rev. John E. Stroud.
