William Green Doss - Bethpage - Sept. - 4 - Prof. John R. Doss, principal of the Bethpage High School, was called to Pleasant Grove by the death of his Father, William Green Doss, at that place. William Green Doss was one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of that place. The deceased had been a devout member of the Pleasant Grove Church for a great number of years and was a man who held the respect and esteem of all who knew him. Mr. Doss was twice married and was the father of twelve children, nine of whom survive him, among them being the Rev. W. Eldridge Doss, a prominent minister of the Methodist conference, and Prof. John R. Doss of Bethpage. The burial was held at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery today.
