Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 1961 at his home, White House, Tenn. S. N. (Jim) Durrett age 67 years. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Durrett; son, Earl Durrett, and granddaughter, all of White House. step-children, William Wright, Mrs. Willard Boyles, Mrs. E. L. Smith, all of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers H. E. Durrett, Tampa, Fla., L. D. Durrett, Cottontown, Tenn. Remains are at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home (White House, Tenn.) where services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. pallbearers: nephews. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
*Sewell Northcross (Jim) Durrett was born in Robertson County, TN in 1893. He was the son of Francis Edmond Durrett and Ann Elizabeth M. Ackerman. He was married first to Eva Jones (1898 - 1934) and second to Ethel Hulsey Wright (1894 - 1973).
