FISHER - Wednesday morning, May 11, at 3:45 o'clock, at her home, 1008 Maplewood, Boulevard, Mrs. Harriett Emma Fisher, age 78 years. Survived by her husband P. Charlie Fisher; daughter, Mrs. W. R. Hollowell; granddaughter, Miss Thelma Evelyn Hollowell of Evansville, Ind.; brothers, J. B. and John E. Crunk of Goodlettsville; sisters, Mrs. Nora Sanders of Madison, Mrs. Belle Newsom and Mrs. Charles T. Hudson of Nashville. Remains are at the funeral home of Cole & Garrett, Goodlettsville, where funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, May 13, at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. W. S. Marshall. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment in Spring Hill Cemetery. *(Found within the 1938 listings.)

FISHER - Thursday morning February 9, 1939, at 10:15 o'clock at his home on the L. & N. Pike near Millersville, Tenn., Andrew J. Fisher, age 85 years. Survived by wife, Mrs. Katherine Matherly Fisher; daughters, Mrs. Fred G. Jones, Mrs. C. T. Shaw of Nashville, Mrs. Morey Bruce of Millersville; sons, C. F. Fisher of Springfield, R. T. and C. J. Fisher of Goodlettsville; six grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Lucy Bruce of Los Angeles, Calf., Mrs. Robert Lassiter of Gallatin, Tenn.; brother, P. C. Fisher of Nashville. Services will be conducted at the parlors of Cole & Garrett this (Friday) afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. O. E. Hall. Pallbearers: Honorary - J. H. Hudgens, T. J. Fisher of Springfield; daughters, Mrs. M. Bruce of Goodlettsville; Mrs. F. G. Jones of Nashville and Mrs. C. T. Shaw; grandchildren, Mrs. B. H. Paty of Memphis, Lois and Bess Bruce, C. J. Fisher, Jr., of Goodlettsville and Gerald and Charlie Fisher of Springfield; brothers, D. F. Matherly of Goodlettsville, Tilden Matherly of Nashville and Lee Matherly of St. Louis; sisters, Mrs. C. P. Perkerson of Nashville; Mrs. Chess Hickerson of Manchester and Mrs. Ewing Harris of Goodlettsville. Remains are at her home on the Louisville Pike (Millersville). Funeral services this (Monday) afternoon, July 29 at 4 o'clock from the parlors of Cole & Garrett, conducted by the Rev. O. E. Hall. Pallbearers: W. I. Wilson, S. E. Gourley, T. S. Carr, O. M. Sanders, Brady Bruce, P. D. Cartwright, Monroe Yount and Will Fulcher. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery.

FISHER - Tuesday morning, Aug. 16, 1949, at 2 o'clock, at a local infirmary, Charles P. (Bum) Fisher, aged 88 years. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Essie Hollowell; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; sister, Mrs. R. H. Lassiter, Gallatin. Remains are at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Thursday afternoon Aug. 18, at 3 o'clock by the Rev. W. S. Marshall. Pallbearers: King Tinnin, Fred Dunnebeck, Clifton Hall, Wilber Crunk, Elliott Moore, Robert Frances and Bill Fisher. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery.
